Nature of work: Performs plant operator work which includes the operation of equipment and the ability to perform a variety of manual tasks required in the operations of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and pumping facilities.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. On-call duty hours, including weekend rotation and overtime, as required. On-call duty requires residency in Brattleboro or an agreed upon bordering town; residency may be relieved when special circumstances exist justifying residence outside of town or bordering towns.
Wages: FY’24 Step 1 $25.48 per hour (anticipated wage)
