Workforce Survey

The National Rural Water Association is conducting a survey about the workforce at water and wastewater systems. The results will help our apprenticeship program and regulatory advocacy to EPA. The survey should be taken by administrative staff, system operators and managers, laboratory technicians, and any other individuals including volunteers.

The deadline to complete the survey is August 30, 2024.

Service Line Inventory Reminder

There are just two months left until Service Line Inventories are due! Every community water system (CWS) and non-transient non-community (NTNC) water system must complete a Service Line Inventory (and a Lead Service Line Replacement Plan, if required) by October 16, 2024

Cybersecurity Survey

Vermont DEC is conducting surveys about automated control at both drinking water and wastewater systems. The surveys will help the State coordinate and identify tools that will help protect systems from cybersecurity risks.

The survey links were emailed to administrative contacts and designated operators/chief operators at water and wastewater systems. Look for an email from ANR – DWGPD (for water systems) or Jill Draper (for wastewater systems) to find the link.

Survey responses are due August 31, 2024.
