Basic Wastewater Course
There is still space available in the spring session of the Basic Wastewater Course in Chester, VT. The eight-week class will be on Wednesdays from March 13 to May 1.
This course covers the basic concepts of wastewater treatment from collection system to final disposal of effluents and solids. It will prepare attendees to take the Grades 1, 2, or 3 Domestic Wastewater certification exams, and is a great primer for those taking higher grade exams.

Distribution Course
There is still space available in the Distribution Course starting on March 7. Four of the class sessions will be held in Rutland, VT and two will be on Zoom.
This class is designed for those seeking a Class D certification. Topics will include all aspects of distribution systems, as well as hydraulics, water chemistry, water mathematics, and sampling procedures.

Board Election: Run for our board of directors! Nominees must be affiliated with a water or wastewater system that is a member of the Vermont Rural Water Association. You are allowed to nominate yourself.

Tony Torchia Award: This award is given to one individual each year in recognition of special contribution to the water/wastewater field in Vermont. The recipient will be chosen by our board of directors and announced at our conference.
