Description
This multi-week course is designed for those seeking a Class D certification. Topics will include all aspects of distribution systems, as well as hydraulics, water chemistry, water mathematics, and sampling procedures. You are expected to attend all sessions.

Textbooks 
The following books are required for all students:
Water Distribution System Operation and Maintenance (Office of Water Programs, Sacramento State)
Water System Operations Water Distribution, Grades 1 & 2 (American Water Works Association)

In addition, Water Operator Certification Exam Prep (American Water Works Association) is recommended.

These books can be purchased along with your registration and will be distributed on the first day of class.

Location 
Most class sessions will be held in-person at the Rutland Wastewater Treatment Facility. Two class sessions will be held on Zoom (see above).
