The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation (FPR) is inviting written proposals for a licensed wastewater contractor to operate the spray irrigation wastewater disposal system at Lake Carmi State Park for the 2023, 2024 operating seasons with option for two one-year extensions for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The Contractor shall be responsible for:
- Daily operation of the wastewater disposal systems at Lake Carmi State Park in strict conformance with the provisions of wastewater disposal permit # ID-9-0061 signed August 30, 2021 on file with the State of Vermont, Agency of Natural Resources, Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and available at the link below.
- Included is daily operations and maintenance of the engineered wetland in accordance with Wastewater Treatment Constructed Wetland Operations and Maintenance Recommendations dated February 16, 2019 (available at the link below).
- For this facility, spraying operation shall be scheduled and paid as an additional service.
