Basic Math for Water and Wastewater Operators

Description
This course covers basic math concepts that operators use frequently in their work and are most likely to appear on water and wastewater certification exams. These include conversions, perimeter, area, volume, PSI, elevation head, and detention time. If time permits, we will also cover flow and chemical dosage.

Attendees should bring their own calculator. If you are preparing to take a water or wastewater certification exam, know that only non-programmable calculators will be allowed during the exam. Graphing calculators and smartphones will not be allowed.
