Project Engineer
Position Summary
A+E is seeking a project engineer with 3-12 years of experience in water resource engineering planning and design. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager/Senior Engineer with solutions for complex engineering problems with minimum oversight and guidance. It is expected that this individual will have contact with clients and command a comprehensive understanding of projects on which they are working. Responsibilities may include preparation of feasibility and preliminary engineering reports for water and wastewater projects, preparation of asset management plans, final design contract documents, permitting, hydraulic analysis for water systems, H&H analysis for stormwater systems, and other related tasks.
Required Education and Experience
• Associates or Bachelors Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a related field
• Vermont PE or PE Track, preferred.
• Vermont Municipal Engineering Experience, preferred.
• 3-12 years of experience
• Salary range: $80,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.
• Experience with any or all of the following, preferred: WaterCAD, HydroCAD, BioWin, GIS.
