Description
This class will cover advanced math concepts, including:
- Surface loading rate calculation
- Filtration rate problems
- Calculations for wells
- Hardness problems
- Flow and velocity problems
- Detention problems
- Lime dosage problems
- Solution feed rate problems
- Percent solution and mixture problems
- Log removal and CT problems
Textbook
The following book is required for all students:
Math for Water Treatment Operators (American Water Works Association) – $89
Books will be distributed at the beginning of class.
