Successful Crisis Communications: Lead, PFAS, & Incident Management
Description
This session will show attendees how successfully handle crisis communications before, during, and after major discoveries or incidents, so they can not only protect their utilities’ reputations, but improve them through planned transparency. WaterPIO has assisted clients with PFAS panics, Lead and Copper Rule exceedances, and systemwide infrastructure failures in more than 20 states. This series of presentations will walk attendees through proper crisis communications management of PFAS discoveries, lead inventory findings and exceedances, and significant water and sewer main breaks—all situations that posed long-term threats to customer confidence.
