Water System Monitoring Schedules

The Vermont Drinking Water and Groundwater Protection Division (DWGPD) has announced that 2025 Public Drinking Water System Monitoring Schedules are now available on the Drinking Water Database at https://anrweb.vt.gov/DEC/DWGWP/

Here’s how to find your monitoring schedule:

  1. Click on Search by Water System
  2. Enter your Water System ID (WSID#) OR system name
  3. Under Search Type, select Monitoring Schedule
  4. Select calendar year 2025 and then click the Search button (please be careful to select the current year schedule and not the future year schedule)
  5. Click on the Select button to the left of your WSID to open/download or print the document as a PDF (double check for multiple pages)
    1. optionally, click on the Chemical Group name to show the analytes required by group (i.e., Volatile Organic Compounds)

Note: from the Search Type dropdown menu (step 3 above) you can also review previous monitoring data and find your Source Protection Plan Update status.

DWGPD is no longer mailing monitoring schedules to water systems, so be sure to use the link above to obtain yours.

SRF Priority List Applications

Project priority list applications for Vermont’s FY2025 Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) and Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) are due February 14, 2025. The DWSRF Priority List Application can be found here and the CWSRF Priority List Application can be found here.

The SRF provides funding for water or wastewater infrastructure. Projects requesting construction funding must submit a priority list application. Projects requesting planning and design funding may submit an application, but it is not required.

EPCRA Tier II Reporting Reminder

The Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) requires some water and wastewater facilities to report annually on the presence and use of chemicals on-site in order to help states and communities improve chemical safety and protect public health and the environment. The deadline for this reporting is March 1, 2025.
