Breweries and Your WWTF

Breweries and specialty food industries are popular in Vermont, but wastewater discharged by these industries to your municipal wastewater treatment facility can have significant impacts on system efficacy and operational costs. This class will provide an understanding of the pollutants discharged from these industries, the impacts on your WWTF, and how to work with these industries to reduce their impacts on your facility. You will learn how to assess and limit the impact of these industries before problems occur at your WWTF.
