Class Description
Join staff from the State of Vermont Drinking Water and Groundwater Protection Division and Vermont Rural Water Association to take a deeper dive into the identification and assessment of actual and potential sources of contamination that can pose a risk to your drinking water source(s). Learn about a variety of strategies and actions that the water system and others can implement to protect the water source(s) using real case studies and examples from active water systems. Learn how to create a Potential Sources of Contamination Source Protection Area Map using the ANR Natural Resources Atlas mapping tool for inclusion in the water system’s Source Protection Plan or Plan Update.
