Our 2026 Conference & Trade Show is nearly full. If you want to attend, register soon! There will be training sessions (earn up to 3.5 TCH for water and/or wastewater), a trade show, and a luncheon. See the tentative schedule here.

On Wednesday, May 13 we will have a golf tournament and a cornhole tournament.

2026 Drinking Water Taste Test

Friday is the deadline to enter the 2026 Drinking Water Taste Test! This friendly competition is open to all public water systems in Vermont with a valid Permit to Operate and no state for federal violations in the past year.

Submit an entry form to info@vtruralwater.org by Friday, May 1 and bring one gallon of water to Lake Morey Resort on May 14.

Renewal Reminder

Class 2 and 4 water treatment certifications are up for renewal in 2026. The renewal form is due by May 31. Use the new Public Drinking Water System Operator Certification Application nFORM, which can be found here. Instructions for the nFORM can be found here.

The renewal form will ask you to categorize your credit hours. Learn more here.
