Description
This course will focus on the design and maintenance of water storage tanks. Participants will learn the types of water storage tanks, as well as materials and design requirements to consider when planning for the addition of a new water storage tank. Like any asset, water storage tanks require routine inspection and maintenance. The course will review best practices and disinfection requirements.

This class will conclude with a site visit to Champlain Water District’s storage tanks in Colchester.
