Coagulation, Flocculation, and General Charge Chemistry

This class will provide an overview of the basic functions of coagulation and flocculation in water and wastewater treatment. Students will learn the role of inorganic and organic coagulants to treat various water sources. We will finish with a jar test presentation illustrating the effects of coagulants and how to interpret those results.
