Basic Wastewater Course

This eight-week course will prepare attendees to take the Grades 1, 2 & 3 Domestic Wastewater certification exams, and is a great refresher for those taking higher-grade exams. Each attendee will learn the basic concepts of wastewater treatment from collection system to final disposal of effluents and solids. The course is based on Wastewater Treatment Fundamentals 1 Liquid Treatment (2018 edition) by the Water Environment Federation. This textbook is included in the cost of registration.

It is strongly encouraged that students take Basic and Advanced Math for Water and Wastewater Operators before attending this course. These classes will be offered on April 26 and 28. Register here:

48 TCH – Wastewater

A computer with a camera and microphone and a suitable internet connection are required. One class day will be scheduled to have an onsite tour of a facility to be determined once we know everyone’s geographic location.
