Inside Sales Representative
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Are you an innovative, deadline-driven, Inside Sales Representative? Are you compatible in a fast-paced team environment, where honesty and customer service is paramount? Then we want to talk to you!
To be successful in this position, the candidate should have knowledge of water, wastewater, stormwater and erosion control products. The candidate should have excellent organizational skills.
This position provides counter sales and phone sales at our Barre, Vermont location.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Generating sales within our established Contractors and Municipalities.
- Responding to requests from customers for product information.
- Remaining knowledgeable and up to date on changes and developments in our customers and competition.
- Answering phones and waiting on customers at the counter.
- Supporting Outside Salesmen by entering orders and accessing customer and product information when they are out on the road.
Requirements:
- Must pass a criminal and background check, and pre-employment drug screen.
- Overnight travel may be required at times to attend training and Company seminars.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. Lifting of up to 50 pounds is required.
