New England Backflow, Inc. is a small business locally owned and operated in Auburn, NH. We test and repair backflow preventers on a variety of systems as well as install water meters. We work closely with community water systems as well as private clients to ensure their drinking water is safe.
Job Description:
Duties include the performance of backflow device testing, repair, installation and replacement throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Position is full time, Monday-Friday at a variable schedule depending on client needs. Usage of company vehicle for extensive travel within the New England region and occasional overnight work. Interaction with water customers on a daily basis.
Requirements:
We seek a qualified candidate for the position of backflow tester. Candidate must possess a valid NEWWA Backflow Prevention Device Inspector/Tester certification. MassDEP Backflow Tester certification preferred but not required. DES Water Works Operator certification preferred but not required. Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record. Ability to effectively communicate with clients. Moderate physical effort in varying weather conditions. Skilled in the use of computers. Must be comfortable working with a tablet. Pre-employment screening includes background check and employment history.
