Essex Junction Water Quality and Public Works Department are seeking an organized, flexible, person to provide administrative tasks for the wastewater, public works, water, and stormwater departments. The Administrative Assistant main duties include database management, invoice processing, form development, research, and other administrative tasks. This position is responsible for triannual utility billing (water and sewer) as well as coordinating water shutoffs and work orders with field staff.
Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma/GED plus 2-3 years of relevant work experience in clerical or office management, or a combination of education and experience from which similar knowledge and skills are required. Experience with databases, Microsoft programs use, pdf editor and strong computer skills are a plus. The full job description can be found here.
The position is full-time and the starting salary range is $17.54 to $21.74 and is dependent on the level of experience and qualifications.
