DESCRIPTION:Class Description \nJoin staff from the State of Vermont Drinking Water and Groundwater Protection Division and Vermont Rural Water Association to learn the why and how of developing a Source Protection Plan and plan updates. This training focuses on developing the basic plan components required under the VT Water Supply Rule and the tools and resources available to help prepare your water system’s Source Protection Plan or Source Protection Plan Update. An introduction to the ANR Natural Resources Atlas mapping tool and the Department of Environmental Conservation Searchable Databases are provided.
