Forum on VRWA's ProgramsWhen: Friday, February 16, 2007 from 9:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a complimentary lunch. Where: Vermont Technical College in Randolph, VT (Exit 4 off I-89). Why: Learn about Rural Water services and offer input as we plan ahead. Vermont Rural Water Association's (VRWA) programs help hundreds of water and wastewater systems every year. With funding from U.S. EPA, other partners and our member systems, VRWA helps systems protect the public health, run economically and efficiently, and comply with regulatory requirements. System operators, managers and owners are our main clients. All those who live in and visit Vermont are the true beneficiaries. Each year VRWA looks to its members and its partners for guidance regarding how we carry out our public service obligations. WE VALUE YOUR INPUT and need your participation. Your involvement ensures the needs of systems served by VRWA are being met. On Friday, February 16, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Vermont Technical College in Randolph, Vermont, we will convene our annual symposium to assess system needs. The primary objective of the forum is to have attendees identify the critical training and technical assistance needs of rural and small community water systems in our Vermont service region. Attendees will include representatives from systems, Vermont DEC, EPA Region 1, VRWA staff, and other representatives from water organizations. Please join us! Your guidance is essential to the continued success of Rural Water programs in Vermont. Please respond by February 3, 2007 if you plan to attend. Contact the administrative office to register (phone 800-556-3792 or e-mail). If you are unable to attend and want to share your thoughts, please feel free to call us at 800-556-3792 (Paula Jackson ext. 332) or e-mail us with your ideas. More information about VRWA's programs is available at www.vtruralwater.org. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in Randolph. |
